Rest In Peace, Davy Jones.
When I was 7, we stayed at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, and they had a The Monkees show out on their “beach stage” and we could see the concert from our room! We could even hear it when we opened our windows. My mom was so happy! She was a huge fan in her day (each of the 4 walls in her room was covered in posters of a different Monkee!) and I know she’s going to be sad.
Also, the episode of The Brady Bunch he appeared in was the best, ever.
Today is a sad day ♥╭╮♥
Agreed worst leap day ever. He was and still is my sister’s favorite. We just discussed how we should have gone to see them for their 45th anniversary tour last summer cause now we’ll never be able to see Davy again. I’m just glad we got to meet him. :’(
